The website is now open 24/7 and customers are free to place an order any day of the week. Please note that we are only in some locations once a week and that the lead time for certain items of stock is 48 hours.

5 Braeburn Apples

The Braeburn apple is firm to the touch with a red/orange vertical streaky appearance on a yellow/green background. Its color intensity varies with different varieties. It is thought to be a cross between Granny Smith and Lady Hamilton. Braeburn apples have a unique combination of sweet and tart flavour. They are available October through April in the northern hemisphere and are medium to large in size. Storing Keep your apples cool. They lose flavor and crispness in warm temperatures. Can be kept in your fridge for up to 6 weeks.

Clementines are sweet, fragrant and juicy inside. They are easy to peel and are often seedless. They are naturally rich in vitamin C. Storing Clementines will keep fresh for a week or two in normal tempreatures. _____________________________________ __ CLEMENTINE SORBET 150g/5oz caster sugar 1 unwaxed lemon, pips removed but skin left on, chopped into little pieces Squeeze the juice from the clementines, then put the sugar and lemon pieces into a food processor and pulse until the lemon has formed a rough purée.
